Built in 1939 on a picturesque ridge running between Bridgewater and Roxbury, Connecticut, Greyledge Farm has been owned by the Fitzgerald family since 1993.
Raising the healthiest, highest quality beef possible, while being good stewards of the land are hallmarks of our farm. We believe strongly in sustainable agriculture, environmental preservation and caring animal husbandry.
Our Black Angus beef cattle graze openly on lush grass pastures with access to the fresh, clean water of the Shepaug River Valley. They are neither confined, nor given supplemental growth hormones or antibiotics.
The Fitzgerald Family is dedicated to quality and excellence in every aspect of Greyledge Farm. We are hands-on owners and our commitment is complemented by the expertise of Mark and Tammie Maynard and a team of professionals with generations of local agricultural experience. Mark is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in agricultural sciences. In 2004, he was recognized as the premiere Black Angus breeder and exhibitor in the New England region at the Eastern States Exposition.
