Preparing Your Beef to be Tender, Moist
and Delicious
Greyledge Farm all-natural beef has less fat than most cuts of beef found in supermarkets and butcher shops today. As a result, we recommend you keep the following in mind as you prepare and cook your beef:
- Season or marinade the beef just prior to cooking.
- Salting too early draws moisture out of the beef.
- Don't cook directly over the highest heat or sear as hard.
- Turn the meat often and keep the heat even.
- Grass-fed beef typically cooks in about 30% less time.
